Best Flat Iron 2010 : Babyliss vs Chi

By

Which is the Best Flat Iron, Babyliss or Chi?

In this article I have compared two of the best 1 inch flat irons available in 2010 which you can pick up for just over $80.

Firstly, there's the Babyliss Pro Titanium Ceramic Ionic Iron. This uses lots of new technology to produce a lightweight, quick and easy to use flat iron.

Second is the 1 inch ceramic plate chi flat irons. These have been around for a while and have built up a reputation for being one of the best flat irons available.

I have summarised what the 2 flat irons offer below and also included two videos from YouTube which should help you decide whether the best flat irons in 2010 are babyliss or chi.

BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium 1 "
Amazon Price: $89.90
List Price: $159.00

Babyliss Pro BABNT3072 Nano Titanium Ceramic Ionic Iron, 1"

These are 1 inch hair straighteners which are thin, lightweight and therefore easy to work with.

One of the main advantages is that they heat up extremely quickly  to 450 F and are quick to do straighten or curl hair so are perfect for busy people.

The emit negative ions and maximum far-infrared heat for fast, gentle straightening without damaging hair.

They glide through hair without pulling too.

Farouk CHI 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron
Amazon Price: $44.89
List Price: $190.00

Farouk CHI 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron

These are 1 inch ceramic hair straighteners.

They are very versatile hair straighteners and can flick, curl and straighten your hair.

Heats up very very quickly

The reviews on the chi hair straighteners are very very good when they are working and there are lots of happy customers. However there are lots of reports of them breaking quite quickly after purchasing them (after about 4 months) so this is something to bear in mind when making your choice. If you purchase them from Amazon they are very cheap but they are only covered by Amazon's 30 day warranty so bear this in mind.
