Lou, I have a book that teenage girl's will love, it is about an 18 year old girl in NYC in the 1930's. The book is filled with romance, adventure, action, ethnic traditions, a curse, and much more.

They can learn of an 18 year olds experience, a coming together of ethnicities and life in general.

I know this because I am its author. My father passed this unbelievable story down to me, about a cousin of ours. Read the comments to find out what people think of it.

Please write me if anyone has questions.

Respectfully yours,

The Chaos Walking Trilogy by Patrick Ness is a must for anyone looking for a thought-provoking series (especially if you've finished The Hunger Games).

Another great series would be Michael Grant's Gone books.
